About Kapejko Studios

Kapejko Studios is a Hamburg-based service company that connects two worlds: personal workplace & integration support and practical IT competence.

Many people in Germany — with migration history, refugees, older job seekers, people with disabilities or career changers — do not just need information. They need someone who really walks with them: to the Jobcenter, through the application, into the new job. At the same time, small companies need staff, do not know all funding possibilities, and rarely have resources for multilingual onboarding or their own IT department.

That is exactly where we work. We speak Polski, Deutsch and English, we keep prices transparent, and we say honestly what we can do — and where a lawyer, certified translator or official counseling center is the better address. The first appointment is free.

“Kapejko Studios helps people and small companies to bring work, bureaucracy and digital technology together — practically.”
Why this website exists

Refurbished works. That’s the whole point.

The founder spent three years fixing laptops — and trying to make the world a little better while doing it. He does not stand for selling new things made from non-renewable resources. He would much rather take what is already broken and fix it, so that no more resources are wasted than necessary.

This website exists to spread exactly that word: you can work perfectly with refurbished devices. Thousands of repaired laptops later, that is not an opinion — it is experience. Our motto: Technology — new and refurbished — doesn’t have to be expensive.

Experience in detail

What the founder actually did — and what is useful to you in 2026

Technical

  • Windows installation, software fixing, hardware failure checks and stress tests on 100–300 laptops a day
  • Soldering and exchanging components on PCs, laptops and mainboards
  • Managed the company server workflows before it became his main responsibility
  • Managed returns for 2 years — tested, documented, written into the database
  • Set up a system to track clicks on Google and Trustpilot reviews
  • Built pipelines connecting JTL with Amazon, Refurbed and eBay
  • Professional RPA project at Deutsche Telekom — built, deployed and maintained on Azure
  • Electrical planning: lights, sockets, cable channels for internet and power

People & HR

  • Managed the HR department and conducted ~30 phone interviews from 3 job platforms
  • Hired 4 workers with no German work background — all became top performers
  • Documented a disability and secured a permanent, subsidised job for a wheelchair user
  • Planned apprenticeships and trainings for employees
  • Supervised apprentices from school and from Hamburger Arbeitsassistenz
  • Managed interns — including from Scotland
  • The only C2-level German speaker: all e-mails, calls and in-person communication
  • Customer service on-site and by phone, plus handing out business cards and promotion

Business & Organisation

  • Developed plans to modernise the warehouse — when the big platforms wouldn’t help
  • Partnered with Amazon and Refurbed marketplaces — even when working with the big platforms was not always easy or fair, he made the cooperation work
  • One year of materials, packing station, pallets, logistics and warehousing — before a logistics team even existed
  • Primary contact for DHL customer service — including when export pickups didn’t show up; drove packages to the Packstation after work when needed
  • Orders and transport organisation (LKW export logistics)
  • Planning meetings on finances, warehouse and staff — notes, protocols, appointments
  • Communication with lawyers during a lawsuit by a large corporation, and support during the capital increase
  • Landlord communication, outsourcing search, e-mails and calls to institutions and business partners
  • Weekend shifts when it mattered — 7 days in a row, 10 hours a day
